How to install it

You need the shower arm you already have, a dry cloth and the thread tape. No wrench, no plumber.

Unscrew the old head
Turn the old head or hose off the shower arm by hand and wipe the thread clean.
Wrap the thread
Wind thread tape clockwise around the arm thread, three or four turns, pulled snug.
Fit the holder
Screw the holder onto the arm by hand, then connect the hose to the holder and to the handle.
Run the water
Turn the water on and watch the joints. A drip usually means one more turn of tape.

If it drips

Most drips come from one of three places, and none of them needs a tool. Start at the joint that is wet and work from there.

Hand tight is enough everywhere. A wrench can crack the plastic nuts, and a cracked nut drips for good.

Wet at the shower armThe tape did not seat. Take the holder off, add two more turns in the same direction as the thread, and screw it back by hand.
Wet at either end of the hoseLook at the rubber washer. It has to sit flat in the nut before you tighten.
Still dripping after bothTake it all apart, wipe every thread dry, and start again from the first step.
